An Anime Riddle

Hi guys! This isn't really a drawing of my usual stuff, but more of a challenge; a riddle of sorts. The one who can successfully guess it will get one free request from me.

The riddle:

Tidus from Final Fantasy X. Sasuke and Chouji from Naruto. Elfman from Fairy Tail. Miss Valentine from One Piece. and Osaka from Azumanga Daioh. Though these characters have absolutely nothing in common, they were united in a different anime. Can you guess what anime that was and how they were united?

Miss Valentine: Rukia
Osaka: Orihime
Elfman: Chad
Sasuke: Uryu
Choji: Renji
